Having spent over 25 years at Blackrock Glass, Southside Glass owner Allen Richardson is a highly skilled and experienced glazier and provides a personal service to his clients and customers.

Southside Glass holds €6.5 million Public Liability insurance and offers a range of services at competitive prices. We provide A-rated double-glazing, stained-glass repair and sash cord replacements. We also offer speciality projects such as custom glass showers, splashbacks, mirrors and tabletops. In case of emergency, we provide a fast repair service.

A-Rated Energy Saving Double Glazing Units
Replace your existing double glazing to A-Rated units. You don’t need to replace your frames, just the glass, which is a more cost effect way to upgrade.
Double Glazed Units
If you find your existing double glazed unit has broken down – if there is a build up of condensation between the two panes of glass and you can no longer clearly see through them – we can replace these. No job is too small.
Velux Glass Replacements
Replace your fogged-up or broken Velux glass. We use toughened safety glass in all Velux glass replacements.
Table Tops
Protect your new kitchen table, coffee table or bedroom furniture from stains and scratches with a glass table top. All of our table tops have a polished edge and can be toughened if needed.
Coloured Glass Splashbacks
Upgrade your kitchen with coloured glass splashbacks. Glass splashbacks are easy to clean and are heat resistant up to 400 ° celsius. There is a wide range of colours to choose from.
Cat & Dog Flaps
You need your cat or dog to have the freedom to move in and out of the house as they please. Southside Glass & Glazing can fit a cat or dog flap using safety, toughened glass for the well being of the animal.
Stained/Leaded Glass Repairs
Is your stained glass broken or cracked? We can replace or reconstruct your leaded glass.
Frameless Glass Showers
We can install glass frameless showers to any size. We use toughened safety glass for all of our work.
Emergency Repair Service
If you’re unfortunate to have a break in, accident or need a pane of glass replaced urgently for any reason, Southside Glass & Glazing will make your home safe and secure and help to restore your peace of mind. We will always advise you when an upgrade to safety glass is necessary.
